NFLX / LNKD / CLtrade

I did the following trades this morning:

NFLX 320/315 put spread for 0.46
LNKD 235/230 put spread for 0.34

With 1 day to go, I think these has a good % of expiring worthless.

I also sold CL 99 naked put for 0.3 which expires within 2 hours. CL is currently traded at 100.3. I'll see if I need to defend this or not.

(Update) all expired worthless with max profit.

2013 P/L

I'll update this post through out the year:

Update NFLX and TSLA

With my NFLX and TSLA weekly options expiring soon, I'm likely to collect all the premiums I wrote. My account is now at $10,207.8 with +$207.8 so far this year.

NFLX 305/300 put credit spread

Sold 1 305 Put
Bought 1 300 Put
for a credit of 0.61 (or $61 less commissions)

This weekly contracts expire tomorrow. It's currently trading at 310 and the stock seem pretty strong.

TSLA put spread

Today I got filled in as follows:

Sold 1 180 put
Bought 1 175 put
for 0.69 (or $69 less commissions)

TSLA is trading at 185 right now. I think 2 of 175/170 spread would have been nicer, but the stock breaking the all time high after consolidation, I think this is a good trade.

TSLA

Sold 2 180 Call
Bought 2 185 Call
for 2* 0.41 spread (about $80)

TSLA volatility picked up a lot recently. We're about $15 away and with the inflated calls, it makes to sense to sell. It's not much, but I like the probability with only 3 days left.

Forex traders who are profitable

Filling out TOS forex forms and apparently forex firms need to offer what % of their clients are profitable. I'm surprised that it's 30%+, which is pretty high.

Another interesting part of the above chart is the number of accounts. I've seen something similar when markets are going up.

I won't be trading forex, but opened it for the sake of it unless it's exotic pairs. I'd rather trade under regulated markets (e.g., 6E for euros).
